BUYERS:
You have found the item you are looking for, now it is time to make a purchase or bid. For your peace of mind we have authorized sellers who signed up for our service with valid email and credit card information. This is good, it will weed out most of the "bad ones" but please keep in mind if it sounds too good to be true, it just might be. Use common sense and communicate with the seller. Enjoy that item you just found and come back often to see what else catches your eye.
-
We suggest that you communicate with the seller. Communication is the key to both parties being happy in the end.
-
Use a payment method that is protected. Most Credit Card companies now offer protection to the card holder. Some payment service offer protection but charge for it and it can also take a long time to recover your loss.
-
Take the option of insurance if it is offered from the seller. Remember the seller isn't the bad person if the package is damaged during shipping, that is where insurance of shipping is important.
-
Leave Feedback for the seller. If you are upset about something in the transaction work it out BEFORE you leave feedback. Give the seller a chance to respond.
SELLERS:
We want to offer you the most run time on your item for your money. Others sites are free, other sites charge you for everything and even a final fee. We make it simple.
Your AD can run for a total of 3 weeks or 6 weeks because we will run it 2 more times for FREE. Just select RELIST on the AD setup page and place 2 in the number of times to RELIST. You can do this after the AD is created, just edit your AD.
If you are a seller on other sites, you have had your share of trying times lately. When we say we know, it is from operating as a Power Seller team ourself. So our tips to you are:
-
Communicate with your potential buyers. Answer the questions asked about the item.
-
Describe the item the best you can. It is ok to say you don't how it works, or the true size. Any used item has a life span but let the buyers know its visual or operational condition.
-
Tell how long it will take you to ship the item out.
-
Offer insurance, this will help both of you in case of damage during shipping.
-
Let buyers know that you are not a rental shop. You will take back items under your conditions and state them upfront, i.e. reduce the buyers remorse.
-
State when you want payment received by in your listing.
-
Make sure you are not listing an item that is prohibited. Read our F.A.Q for a common list to help you with a questionable item. You are the one that is responsible for listing the item and take responsibility that it is a legal to sell.
-
Feedback is here for you and the buyer to rate each other. Freedom of speech lives on!
